Executive Director and Co-Founder
Christina is an artist and humanitarian. Her core interests lie in supporting underrepresented and marginalized groups, and the arts as a source of healing, inspiration and strength. She was awarded her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Hunter College and her Master of Science in International Affairs from the New School with a focus on conflict and security. She has worked with youth and communities in West and Central Africa with Colors of Connection, implementing 8 projects in post-conflict contexts and refugee camps. Some of the innovative work she has done with Colors of Connection is developing and implementing artistic activities that mitigate trauma and support the social and emotional health of adolescent girls.
