Ready to fundraise to bring the power of art to conflict-affected
youth and their communities?

Starting a campaign is easy. So let’s get started!

Step 1

Decide to make an impact through art

There are millions of people in today’s world whose lives have been torn apart by violent conflict. Together we can harness the unique power of art to bring healing and connection to those who need it the most.

Step 2

Choose what you want to do to raise money.

Here’s the best part: you can do anything you want to raise money  – run a race, shave your head, grow your beard, host a party, climb a mountain, ask for birthday donations instead of gifts. The possibilities are endless.

Set your target dollar amount.

Any amount you raise will make an impact. Here’s few ideas to inspire you. For $500 you can sponsor a classroom to create a safe space for teen artivists to come together. For $1,000 you can sponsor a mural unveiling celebration to bring a community together. $10,000 will sponsor a mural that reflects a community’s hopes and dreams.

Step 4

Select your fundraising platform

We recommend gofundme or Facebook. Just select Colors of Connection (or Colors of Connection, Inc. on gofundme) and follow the prompts to set up your campaign.

Step 5

Tell your friends and family about your fundraiser and ask them to give.

You’ll probably want to remind people once or twice during your campaign, and of course, thank them after they donate! Also, please tag us on any social media posts you create about your fundraiser.

And that’s it! You’re done. The fundraising platforms will send the money directly to us and tax receipts to your donors.

The only thing to do at this point is stay tuned for updates on the impact of the money you fundraised! We’ll share with you stories about the actual people whose lives were touched through your donations.
